Realserve was founded by Nigel Waller in 2000 in the backroom and has grown into a New Zealand and Australian corporate with branch offices in various regions.
With over 20 years of real estate experience behind him, Waller saw the strategy of tactics, service and teamwork as an asset to the property market, an industry bogged down with cumbersome work practices and in real need of exceptional customer service. So the idea of Realserve was born.
Waller is quick to acknowledge the part played by Colonial First State, who gave him and his startup business its first major breakthrough in an initial project, thereby enabling Realserve to finds its legs and be noticed as the new kid on the block. Reserve's mission meant aiming high; providing a premium service where none existed and expand to become a national organisation.
"Our core business is people", Waller says, when discussing the contributing factors to Realserve's success over the years, acknowledging the key personnel who continue to evangelise for and craft the growth of Realserve. These include CEO Michael Larobina, General Manager Tarek Jomma, Marketing & Organisational Development Manager James Sawell and Auckland Manager Rhys Smith who have forged Realserve into the peak body of survey planners and drafters they are recognised for.
